CATS!
April & May’s schedules are quite tight for me..not busy working on serials, but busy with rehearsals for “the peranakan ball” musical as well as the COMMUNITY CHEST CHARITY SHOW in June. on top of that, i’ve several variety shows to do & recently, i attended the gala of the musical, CATS!
i’ve always love musical, started at age 18! that is why i don’t mind watching CATS again, & for the fact that the running of the musical in london & new york has stopped.
the 1st musical i went to when i was in england, 
JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT at the London Palladium, opened my eyes to the world of stage performances. i went with aunty Maureen, who took care of my sister, before my sister got married. because of aunty Maureen, i was very lucky to be 1 of the VIPs, & that night was the opening night! it was my 1st & as i didn’t understand the culture then, i dressed down in old jeans & tee. the people who attended dressed to the nines! i would say that’s a culture i have to learn, to respect & appreciate the troupe. since then, i told myself, i have to see at least 1 musical every time i visit england..cos its a must-go! i will be very disappointed if i don’t get to see one. so far, i did not manage to see many of them..i’ve only seen 
THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, 
MISS SAIGON,
LES MISERABLES & 
THE PRODUCERS. there’s still so many more to see! i must plan for a holiday in england soon!
but of course, i will put on my finest clothing & jewerly as an invited guest, to all the events i attend, not just for musical. in singapore, it’s so much easier for me to dress up, from head to toes. CATS musical gala was the night that i managed to show my respect & appreciation for the troupe. they are simply marvelous! so, if you have not seen one in your life yet, i reckon you should go & see the musical, you don’t have to buy the most expensive & best seat, you can start by getting the cheapest & i guarantee you will not be disappointed! 
preparing myself for the night! i was supposed to go with ah yen but she's not in town so since fiona was free, i brought her to her very 1st musical!
i felt like i was in england for a moment...

hey ann! firstly, you look awesome! haha.. just to share i’ve been to quite a few musicals when i was young, and recently when phantom came back i think about 2 years back? i went! and it was great. i am thinking of catching CATS as well with my grandma (she brought me to all the musicals last time!). but i love phantom cos it’s such a sad story but the visuals blew me off my seat! lol
the musical was nice !!
got a small fright during the starting coz the ‘cats’ went all the up to the audience and it was so up close !
yes! when i saw CATS in london 1 of them came up to me! that was more of a thrilling experience for me!
